S. Cameron Roach
Author of The Scrolls of Udanadar
S. Cameron Roach (1967-Present) was born a U.S. Navy brat in Portsmouth, VA and soon found himself in San Diego, CA- with the whole family of course- where he continued the process of growing up. In time he became a suffering Chargers and Padres fan while also meeting his future wife—one has nothing to do with the other. He has been writing for most of his known life, just not with much follow-through. A school publication here and there, decades of aimless hammering at nascent stories, and a few years' worth of Christmas letters were his stock in trade until it suddenly all came together in 2009 in Iraq. Once married and realizing the terror of supporting a family, he joined the US Army and begat two army brats en route to 24 years of service to his country in the Military Intelligence field, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. He has a BS in Intelligence, served in Desert Storm and in OIF and OEF.
Roach is currently a Texas resident for life with his lovely and dedicated wife of 25 years, Kelli, and two boxers while his sons pop in now and again to take up space. Now he is looking to begin the next stage of his life in retirement as an author bringing smiles, laughter, and adventure to avid readers.
